Long-tail Sunset is a tamarind coconut curry blend. This spicy and tangy spice blend is a homage to the fishermen of Southern Thailand. Delicious on seafood, it makes an amazing curry sauce that I love on just about everything. It is also great on rice, noodles, chicken, pork, vegetables, and stir-fry! Try this recipe!
Marrakesh Sitar is a Moroccan Ras el Hanout blend, translating to "top shelf" in Arabic. Aromatic, floral and sweet, this blend is inspired by the generous Moroccan hospitality of sharing a meal and song. Try this recipe!
Mombacho Café is a Nicaraguan espresso-citrus adobo inspired by an adventure through Mombacho Volcano's coffee plantation and the grilled street food of Granada. Subtle hints of espresso, garlic, cumin, oregano and citrus pair very nicely with pork and chicken. This spice blend is made for the BBQ lover, crafted to let the meat itself shine through. Also delicious in braises, beans, rice and many other dishes. Try this recipe!
Every spice box purchased we donate a meal to the San Francisco- Marin Foodbank.

I purchased this item to send as a gift to 2 friends who have had to curtail their world travels during the current quarantine. They were thrilled to receive it and begin creating some dishes that remind them of their travels.
As a recovering heart patient I’m constantly on the search for spice combos WITH NO SALT OR SODIUM. Yours are mixed that way. Delicious spice combos with no salt added. I used mine the day they arrived! It is so difficult to find spice combos, especially for foreign dishes with no additional salt or MSG. They really add a great flavor!
We really like the Nicarauguan Spice and use it on chicken and pork. We also like the Moroccan Spice for chicken and fish. I love the Thai Spice, but it is too hot for my wife, so it gets used sporadically. The three different spices has really opened up some new cooking for us.
We have been very pleased with all Pensey’s spices. Trying new ones all the time and looking forward to trying more!
The spices are amazing in generous portions. The bonus wooden spoon was a really nice addition. We’ve been making one-by-one the dishes from the included recipe cards and we’ve been super impressed. Overall, so very happy with the gift I ordered for my Father’s Day (both boxes).
